Today is the day!

I am generally not a breakfast-eater, but knowing that I had to take 1 of these little blue pills (the antibiotic) this morning, I force-fed myself 2 pieces of blueberry crumble toast. I think that was harder than giving myself the shot. Well, other than psyching myself out to do it for the first time. But the actual shot - a piece of cake! Truly!! I didn't even feel the teeny needle penetrate the skin. The after-effect sucked though...it almost immediately turned red and started to itch. This, apparently, is normal, according to the paperwork I was given by the IVF office. Their suggestion was to use a cold, wet compress for a few minutes...totally worked!!!

I think I'm going survive this afterall :)
